NKU TO MEET FINDLAY ON WEDNESDAY

Norse (10-5) face Oilers (12-4) in regional showdown

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University volleyball team will play host to the University of Findlay at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Regents Hall in an important regional matchup.

NKU (10-5 overall, 3-0 Great Lakes Valley Conference) owns nine consecutive wins going into Wednesday’s showdown with Findlay, which is 12-4 overall. The Norse have not lost since a four-game setback at Findlay on Sept. 5, and NKU has won 13 straight matches in Regents Hall dating back to last season.

Findlay is a member of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, which competes for NCAA Division II Tournament berths with the GLVC. NKU and Findlay are both hoping to be ranked No. 1 in the first Great Lakes Region poll, which will be released in early October.
