Brunsman remains unbeaten (5-0) in singles |

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Elizabeth Brunsman improved to 5-0 in singles competition Wednesday with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Sara Leonard as the Northern Kentucky University womens tennis team defeated Bellarmine University, 7-2. Brunsman, a graduate of Oak Hills High School, also teamed with Jessica Kirkpatrick in No. 1 doubles and posted an 8-0 victory. NKU improved to 3-2 overall, 3-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Lindsay England also remained unbeaten in singles competition with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Carrie McCoy. England is now 5-0 this season. Kirkpatrick, Jessica Smith and Kristina Cunningham also were victorious for NKU in singles play. Smith and England teamed for a win at No. 2 doubles. NKU will play host to Saint Josephs College at 3 p.m. Friday. The Norse will also meet Lewis University at 9 a.m. Saturday. |
