O’HARA EARNS THIRD GLVC HONOR

NKU junior named GLVC Player of the Year for third straight season

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University women’s tennis player Jamie O’Hara has been named Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Year for the third straight season by the league coaches. O’Hara, a junior who is unbeaten (32-0) in her career against GLVC opponents at No. 1 singles, also earned Player of the Year honors in 1998 and '99. NKU first-year coach J. Webb Horton was named Coach of the Year as the Norse captured their third straight conference championship at last weekend’s GLVC Championships.
