HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University women’s tennis team defeated the University of Indianapolis, 6-3, Tuesday afternoon at the NKU tennis courts.
Senior Elizabeth Brunsman picked up victories at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles for the Norse, now 6-0 overall, 6-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. NKU is closing in on the GLVC regular-season title and can wrap up the No. 1 seed in the upcoming GLVC Championships this weekend.
The Norse will play road matches at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, Quincy University and Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville to close out conference play. NKU can clinch the regular-season title by winning two of those matches.
