NKU TO HOST MERCYHURST ON SUNDAY

Norse (21-2) to meet Mercyhurst (16-5) for second time this year

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University women’s soccer team will play host to Mercyhurst (Pa.) College at noon this Sunday (Nov. 21) at the Town & Country Sports Complex in Wilder, Ky.

NKU, which won the Central Region title last Saturday with a 1-0 victory against North Dakota State, already owns a 3-0 triumph against Mercyhurst (16-5) earlier this season. Mercyhurst advanced to the NCAA quarterfinals by upsetting No. 2 Ashland University, 1-0, on Sunday.

NKU is ranked No. 7 nationally in the final NCAA Division II poll.
