NKU junior forward sets school record with four goals on Sunday

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University women’s soccer player Betsy Moore has been named Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week. Moore, a junior forward and a graduate of McAuley High School in Cincinnati, scored a school-record four goals Sunday afternoon as the Norse defeated Mercyhurst (Pa.) College, 6-2, at Erie, Pa. The four goals broke the previous NKU single-match record of three, held by four different players - including Moore. For the week, Moore scored five goals and had one assist as NKU posted a 2-0 record.
