NKU FAVORED TO WIN GLVC TITLE

Norse seek fourth straight GLVC championship

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University women’s soccer team has been picked as the preseason favorite in the Great Lakes Valley Conference poll. NKU has won three consecutive GLVC championships, and the Norse return nine starters this season. NKU is also ranked No. 2 nationally in the NCAA Division II preseason poll. NKU received 10 first-place votes for a total of 100 points. Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville was picked second with 88 points. 2001 GLVC women’s soccer poll 1.
