TROUT EARNS GLVC HONOR

Northwest High School graduate named GLVC Player of the Week

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University women’s soccer player Amanda Trout has been named Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week. Trout, a graduate of Northwest High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, scored the game-winning goal during a 2-0 victory against the University of Southern Indiana last Friday night. Trout also assisted on NKU’s only goal during a 1-1 tie against Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville on Sunday. Trout’s defense helped NKU hold two of the GLVC’s top scorers - USI’s Stephanie Minor and SIUE’s Colleen Creamer - to no goals or assists in the two games.
