Norse now 1-0 on exhibition tour of Germany

STUTTGART, Germany - Senior midfielder Tricia Ruark scored a pair of goals Tuesday as the Northern Kentucky University women’s soccer team opened up its exhibition tour of Germany with a 6-2 win over FC Sindelsingen. Ruark, a graduate of Seton High School in Cincinnati, was last season’s Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Year and a first team NCAA Division II All-American. Senior midfielder Jeanna Martin, also a Seton High School graduate, added two assists for the Norse. Carey Hebbeler, Jill Johannigman, Betsy Moore and Kendra Zinser also scored goals for the Norse, who finished 21-2-2 a year ago.
