NKUS HALL WINS MEDAL ON TUESDAY
Norse freshman takes first place at Laker Fall Invitational
ALLENDALE, Mich. - Northern Kentucky University freshman womens golfer Breanne Hall shot a 5-over-par 78 Tuesday afternoon and finished with a two-day total of 156 to win the medal at the Laker Fall Invitational.
Hall, whose 5-over-par 78 tied her for first place with the University of Toledos Sara Boogaard after Mondays first round at the par-73 Meadows Golf Course, won the medal by one stroke over Boogaard and Enid Gage of Western Michigan. Boogaard and Gage both finished at 157.
Hall, from Kentwood, Mich., became the first NKU womens golfer to ever win medalist honors at a tournament. Junior Diana Camacho finished with a total of 169 to finish 18th in the individual competition.
NKU finished in eighth place in the team standings.
