NORSE GOLFERS FINISH 6TH AT GVSU

Norse compete at Laker Fall Invitational

ALLENDALE, Mich. - The Northern Kentucky University women’s golf team finished sixth at the Laker Fall Invitational Tuesday with a two-day score of 666.

Kim Keyer-Scott led NKU with a two-day total of 157, which was good for a fourth-place tie at the par-73 Meadows Golf Course. Keyer-Scott entered the final round tied for second place in the individual competition, but she shot an 8-over-par 81 on Tuesday. Grand Valley State University’s Melissa Sneller shot a 3-over-par 76 during the final round to capture the medal with a score of 151.

NKU’s Kelsey Gauthier finished the event with a two-day score of 163, which tied for 12th place in the individual competition. Grand Valley State took the team title with a total of 625, 17 strokes better than runner-up University of Nebraska at Omaha (642).
