NORSE IN 13TH PLACE AFTER FIRST DAY

Hall in ninth place in the individual competition

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - The Northern Kentucky University women’s golf team is in 13th place after the first day of competition of the Lenoir-Rhyne/Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate Golf Tournament.

NKU totaled 367 (+79) at the par-72 Bay Tree Golf Course’s Gold Course on Monday. NKU freshman Breanne Hall shot 39-44 on Monday and is tied for ninth place with a score of 83.

Hall, who won the medal at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships last week, trails leader Beth Ann Baldry (78) of Florida Southern by five strokes after the first round.

The final round will be played on Tuesday.
