FINDLAY, Ohio - The Northern Kentucky University womens golf team posted a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Division II East Region Tournament on Wednesday with a total of 989. NKU golfer Kim Keyer-Scott, who held a one-stroke lead going into the final round, shot an 80 at the par-72 Findlay Country Club on Wednesday and finished fourth in the individual competition with a score of 236 (+20). Keyer-Scott also qualified as an individual for the upcoming NCAA Division II national championships. Longwood (Va.) Universitys Tiffany Woodyer captured the medal by firing a 1-over-par 73 in the final round and completing the event with a score of 232. Longwood also won the East Region title with a score of 958, 21 strokes better than runner-up Grand Valley State University (979). Longwood and Grand Valley State both advanced to the NCAA Division II national championships, which will be held May 14-17 at Mission Inn Golf and Tennis Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla.
