BIG RAPIDS, Mich. - Northern Kentucky University golfer Kim Keyer-Scott is in first place with a score of 153 after the opening day of the NCAA Division II East Regional at the par-72 Katke Golf Course. NKU is in third place as a team with a total of 651, seven strokes behind second-place Grand Valley State University (644). The final round of the 54-hole event will be played Wednesday. The top two teams - along with the top two individuals not with a team - will advance to the national finals. The 2004 NCAA Division II national finals will be held May 12-15 at The Legacy Club at Alaqua Lakes in Longwood, Fla., and will be hosted by the Central Florida Sports Commission.
