NKU golfer to compete at NCAA II nationals |

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University womens golfer Kim Keyer-Scott will compete individually at the NCAA Division II national championships, which will be held this week (May 14-17) at Mission Inn Golf and Tennis Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. Keyer-Scott posted a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Division II East Regional at Findlay, Ohio, to qualify for the national championships. The sophomore golfer shot rounds of 76-80-80 for a total of 236 (+20) to earn a trip to the national finals. Keyer-Scott enters the national championships with a stroke average of 78.6 this season. She also earned All-Great Lakes Valley Conference honors in the fall after leading NKU to its first-ever GLVC title. In addition, Keyer-Scott has won medals at the Anderson (S.C.) Invitational and the Tusculum/Kiawah Island Invitational this season. A year ago, Keyer-Scott helped NKU to a third-place finish at the national championships. She finished in 15th place individually with a four-round total of 329 (+37) at the Meadows Golf Club in Allendale, Mich. |
