NKU GOLFERS NAMED ALL-AMERICA

Keyer-Scott, Camacho earn All-America honors

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University women’s golfers Kim Keyer-Scott and Diana Camacho have been named to the National Golf Coaches Association Division II All-America Team.

Keyer-Scott earned first team All-America honors and also was named the National Golf Coaches Association Division II Softspikes Freshman of the Year. Keyer-Scott led NKU to a third-place finish at the NCAA Division II National Championships at Allendale, Mich., in May.

Camacho, a senior, earned second team All-America honors after helping NKU capture the NCAA Division II East Region championship and advance to the NCAA national finals for the first time in the program’s history. Camacho captured medalist honors at the NCAA Division II East Region Tournament to lead the Norse to that championship.

NKU head coach Daryl Landrum was named the 2002 National Golf Coaches Association Division II East Region Coach of the Year.
