NKU PLAYERS EARN ALL-GLVC HONORS

Flanagan, Mobley and Polosky receive accolades

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University women’s basketball players Bridget Flanagan and Amy Mobley have been voted second team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference by the league coaches.

Flanagan, a senior guard and a graduate of Mercy High School in Cincinnati, averages 14.1 points per game and has made a team-leading 77 three-point shots. Mobley, a senior forward and a graduate of Harrison (Ohio) High School, leads NKU in scoring (15.4 ppg) and rebounding (6.9 rebounds per game).

NKU senior forward Kristin Polosky (Bobtown, Pa./Mapletown HS) earned honorable mention All-GLVC accolades. Polosky averages 9.3 ppg and leads NKU with 43 blocked shots and 123 assists.

The Norse (21-7) will meet Grand Valley State University (24-6) at 8 p.m. Friday in the first round of the NCAA Division II Tournament at Indianapolis, Ind.
