NKU DEFEATS QUINCY, 74-45

Tuchfarber scores 14 as Norse improve record to 9-2

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Junior guard Michele Tuchfarber scored 14 points Thursday night as the Northern Kentucky University women’s basketball team defeated Quincy University, 74-45, in Regents Hall.

Junior guard Heather Livingstone added 12 points for NKU, now 9-2 overall, 4-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Norse are ranked No. 11 nationally in the WBCA Division II poll. NKU held Quincy (4-8, 0-6 GLVC) to just 32.6 percent shooting from the field and forced 28 turnovers by the Hawks.

NKU, which now owns an 8-0 lead against Quincy in the all-time series, will play host to the University of Missouri-St. Louis at 1 p.m. on Saturday in Regents Hall.
