Cottrell scores 22 points as Norse win 11th straight game

QUINCY, Ill. - Sophomore forward Michelle Cottrell scored 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds Saturday afternoon as the Northern Kentucky University women’s basketball team defeated Quincy University, 94-62, at Memorial Gymnasium.

The Norse improved to 19-2 overall, 14-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. It was NKU’s 11th consecutive victory, and the Norse are ranked No. 4 nationally in the WBCA Division II poll. NKU is also ranked No. 1 in the Great Lakes Region poll.
