"As a successful student-athlete, I learned to juggle a challenging major with a hectic basketball schedule and other student organizations. Athletics provided me an avenue to grow as a leader, work confidently within a diverse team, and work hard to overcome struggles to achieve many common goals. Athletics also enabled me to work with the local community through tutoring, mentoring, and coaching; these experiences have inspired me to continue giving back."

The innovative educational progress of the University as well as the success and direction of the athletic program speaks volumes for the future of the Northern Kentucky region."
