Karen
Finan serves as Vice-President of Marketing and Tech Projects for Northern
Kentucky Tri-County Economic Development Corporation (Tri-ED), the
regional economic development organization representing Boone, Campbell
and Kenton counties in Kentucky. Finan joined the organization in April
of 2005. Her responsibilities include the attraction and retention
of technology firms to the Northern Kentucky area as well as direction
of the overall marketing efforts for Tri-ED.
Finan,
a native and current resident of Northern Kentucky, came to Tri-ED
from Duke Realty Corporation after 14 successful years in business
development and marketing. A graduate of Northern Kentucky University,
she is a member of CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women), CoreNet Global
and Industrial Asset Management Council. She is active at the community
level with the Fine Arts Fund, Redwood and Notre Dame Academy. Finan
resides with her husband, Dan, and their three children, Nick, Ross
and Julie.
A
four year starter on NKU’s Division I Volleyball team from 1977-1980
Finan still has nightmares of being cut from the team by Jane Meier
and uses this competitive drive to win new business. Her daughter Julie,
age 14 has attended 12 NKU Women’s Walk events.

Cousins is the 2008 Vice-Chair. She is a Vice President and Community
Development Manager for U.S. Bank.

Vice-Chairperson Glenda Cousins
Glenda Cousins is Vice President, and the Manager of Community Development for U. S. Bank. She is responsible for meeting Community Reinvestment Act requirements in Greater Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio. She is very visible in the community and acts as a liaison between U.S. Bank and diverse groups within our communities. She also manages the day-to-day operations for U.S. Bank's Community Development Department. Glenda was the Development Network President for the Greater Cincinnati area. The Development Network is an internal organization within U.S. Bank that promotes the personal and professional development of its employees.
A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Ms. Cousins attended the University of Cincinnati, serves on the board of Trustees for the Talbert House, The YMCA, The Greater Cincinnati Micro-Enterprise Initiative, The Advisory Board of the University of Cincinnati Small Business Development Center, and is a an alumnus of The African-American Leadership Development Program (class XI). She was also a 1997 YMCA Black Achiever, YWCA 2002 Rising Star, and is a graduate of Project Blue Print. Glenda is the Youth Director, and sits on the Board of Trustees at Christ Temple Baptist Church.
Glenda resides in Cincinnati, Ohio, with her loving husband and daughter.
