Norse tabbed No. 21 in AVCA NCAA Division II poll |

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Northern Kentucky University volleyball team is ranked No. 21 nationally in the AVCA NCAA Division II top 25 preseason poll. NKU finished with a 27-7 record last season and advanced to the NCAA Division II Tournament. The Norse return four starters this season and are seeking their fifth consecutive Great Lakes Valley Conference championship. West Texas A&M received 779 points to edge North Alabama (777) and Augustana (776) for the No. 1 spot in the poll. The top three teams in the preseason poll were separated by only three points. Defending national champion Hawaii Pacific gained the most first-votes with 13, but landed in fourth place with 751 points. |
