NKU SIGNS TALENTED RECRUIT

Miami Trace’s Black to attend NKU and play softball

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Kiley Black, a 2003 graduate of Miami Trace High School, has signed a national letter of intent to attend Northern Kentucky University and play softball for the Norse. Black, a native of Washington Court House, Ohio, earned All-Buckeye Athletic Conference honors last season after batting .603 with 34 runs batted in. She also lettered in basketball for Miami Trace and averaged 8.0 points per game and 2.0 steals per game. Black will join an NKU softball program that has advanced to the NCAA Division II Tournament the past two seasons. The Norse posted a 36-17 overall record in 2003.
