NKU SIGNS HARRISON’S BAER

Talented pitcher to attend NKU

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Danielle Baer, a 2003 graduate of Harrison (Ohio) High School, has signed a national letter of intent to attend Northern Kentucky University and play softball for the Norse. Baer, who earned second team All-Fort Ancient Valley Conference honors last season, recorded 137 strikeouts as a senior. She also pitched the first perfect game in the history of Harrison softball. Baer will join an NKU softball program that has advanced to the NCAA Division II Tournament the past two seasons. The Norse posted a 36-17 overall record in 2003.
