NKU DEFEATS BELLARMINE TO REMAIN UNBEATEN

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University women’s tennis team improved to 10-0 Thursday afternoon with an 8-1 victory against Bellarmine College.

NKU completed the Great Lakes Valley Conference portion of its schedule with a 10-0 record, and the Norse have now posted consecutive unbeaten seasons in the GLVC. The Norse, in fact, have not lost to a GLVC opponent since late in the 1997 fall season.

Sophomore Jamie O’Hara improved to 9-0 overall with a 6-4, 6-1 victory against Bellarmine’s Casey Bozarth in No. 1 singles action. O’Hara is now 20-0 all-time against GLVC opponents.
