RAHSCHULTE EARNS GLVC HONOR

Norse senior named GLVC Player of the Week

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University’s Justin Rahschulte has been named Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week in baseball. Rahschulte, a senior center fielder and a graduate of Boone County High School, batted .625 (10-for-16) and had two game-winning hits in the Norse’s final at-bats this past week. Rahschulte’s two-run double in the top of the seventh inning last Wednesday game NKU a 6-5 win over Ashland University. He came back on Sunday with an RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Norse a 10-9 win over Quincy. In that game, Rahschulte was 4-for-5 with two RBIs, and he also became NKU’s all-time career leader in triples with 12. Rahschulte is hitting .368 with seven home runs, 14 doubles, six triples and 44 RBI. He also has scored 47 runs.
