Norse finish season with 22-6 record |

MIDLAND, Mich. - For the second straight year, Northwood (Mich.) Universitys mens tennis team eliminated Northern Kentucky University from the NCAA Division II Tournament with a 5-0 decision against the Norse on Friday in the regional finals. Northwood (20-2) earned a berth in the NCAA national finals with the victory. NKU finished its season with a 22-6 record. A year ago, Northwood posted a 5-0 win against NKU in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. NORTHWOOD 5, NKU 0 Lotz defeated Robertson, 6-0, 6-2; Valenthon defeated Hopkins, 6-0, 6-0; Greif-Lotz defeated Benjelloun-Hopkins, 8-2; Blumberg-Valenthon defeated Robertson-Moler, 8-3; Menec-Labarta defeated Herzog-Walkup, 8-4. |
