NKU TRAVELS TO QUINCY ON FRIDAY |

Norse (3-3-1, 0-2 GLVC) also meet SIUE this weekend |

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University mens soccer team will travel to Quincy, Ill., this Friday for a 6 p.m. match against Quincy University. NKU owns a 3-3-1 overall record after suffering a 5-0 loss to the University of Missouri-St. Louis last Sunday. The Norse - who will also visit Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville at 1 p.m. Sunday - are 0-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Quincy owns a 5-1 overall record, and the Hawks are 2-0 in the GLVC. SIUE is 3-2-1 overall, 2-0 in the GLVC. Senior forward Jeff Anderson continues to lead NKU in scoring with six goals. Freshman defender David Lies collected his second goal of the season last Friday night during a 2-1 loss to the University of Southern Indiana and ranks No. 2 on the team in scoring with four points. Sophomore goalie Nate Madden has a 1.62 goals against average and 29 saves this season. |
