NKU TRAVELS TO HILLSDALE |

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University mens soccer team will travel to Hillsdale, Mich., this Wednesday to play Hillsdale College at 4:30 p.m. NKU enters that contest with a 2-1-1 record, while Hillsdale is 1-2-1. The Norse will begin Great Lakes Valley Conference action at 5:30 p.m. Friday with a home match against the University of Southern Indiana (2-3). NKU will also play host to the University of Missouri-St. Louis (1-2) at noon on Sunday. Jeff Anderson scored a pair of second-half goals on Sept. 8 as NKU defeated the University of Missouri-Rolla, 3-1, at Rolla, Mo. Andersons first goal, which was assisted by Stephen Hahn, came at the 54:48 mark and snapped a 1-1 tie. He sealed the victory for NKU seven minutes later with a goal off another assist from Hahn. Anderson leads NKU in scoring with four goals and eight total points. Tony Becker has a goal and an assist for the Norse. Goalie Nate Madden owns a 0.99 goals against average. |
