HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University men’s soccer team moved up to 18th nationally in the NCAA Division II poll.
NKU owns a 4-0-1 record going into Friday’s 5 p.m. Great Lakes Valley Conference opener against the University of Wisconsin-Parkside (5-1) at the Town & Country Sports Complex in Wilder, Ky. The Norse were ranked 25th nationally last week and posted a 2-1 win at the University of Missouri-Rolla on Sunday.
NKU has allowed just one goal in five games this season. Norse senior goalie Nate Madden owns a 0.19 goals against average.
