HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University mens soccer head coach John Basalyga has announced that the following two individuals have signed national letters of intent to attend NKU and play for the Norse next fall. They are: Jeremy Curington, a 5-foot-11 goalie from Lakota West High School. Curington, who ranks No. 3 all-time in the state of Ohio with 36 career shutouts, earned four letters for the Firebirds and earned All-Greater Miami Conference honors last year. Michael Kyle Roberts, a 5-11 forward/midfielder from Centerville High School. Roberts led the Elks with eight assists last season, and he also added nine goals. He was named second team All-Greater Western Ohio Conference last fall. Those recruits will join an NKU squad that finished with a 4-9-3 overall record in 2003. The Norse also posted a 2-5-3 mark in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. |
