BELLARMINE DEFEATS NKU, 1-0, ON WEDNESDAY

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Dan Feld’s goal with 10 minutes remaining in regulation Wednesday afternoon gave Bellarmine College a 1-0 victory over Northern Kentucky University in a men’s soccer match.

Feld’s goal was assisted by Nathan Richards, and Bellarmine held on for its first Great Lakes Valley Conference win of the season. The Knights improved to 5-10 overall, 1-8 in the GLVC.

NKU dropped to 6-6-1 overall, 3-5-1 in the GLVC. The Norse will return home to host Missouri-Rolla at 7 p.m. this Friday night at Town & Country Sports Complex, and they will face unbeaten University of Charleston (W. Va.) at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday at Town & Country Sports Complex.
