MOBLEY EARNS GLVC HONOR

NKU junior forward named GLVC co-Player of the Week

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University’s Amy Mobley has been named Great Lakes Valley Conference co-Player of the Week in women’s basketball. Mobley, a graduate of Harrison (Ohio) High School, averaged 18.0 points, shot 67 percent from the field, grabbed 16 rebounds, collected 13 assists and blocked five shots in leading NKU to two conference victories last week. She began the week with a 22-point effort as NKU defeated Wisconsin-Parkside, 82-67. Mobley came off the bench in that game and made 9 of 11 field goals and collected five assists. Mobley then scored 14 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, collected eight assists and blocked four shots during a 97-80 victory over Saint Joseph’s on Saturday. Mobley shared the GLVC weekly honor with Bellarmine’s Lynne Johnson.
