NKU FINISHES THIRD AT INDIANAPOLIS

Norse’s Jarvi shoots 76 to lead NKU

 

NEW PALESTINE, Ind. - The Northern Kentucky University men’s golf team posted a third-place finish at the University of Indianapolis Invitational on Wednesday with a score of 310 at the par-72 The Links Golf Club.

NKU tied Wisconsin-Parkside for third place in the tournament, and the Norse were led by senior Josh Jarvi’s 4-over-par 76. Jarvi shot a 1-over-par 37 on the front and completed the course with a 3-over-par 39 on the back nine to finish in a tie for ninth place in the individual competition.

Two other NKU golfers - junior Steve Landrum and freshman Brandon Brown - both shot 77 on Wednesday.
