Phelps leads Norse with two-day total of 154 |

COLDWATER, Mich. - The Northern Kentucky University mens golf team finished in a tie for 12th place at the NCAA Division II Great Lakes Region Tournament with a two-day score of 627. The Norse, who tied the University of Findlay and Wayne (Mich.) State University for 12th place at the par-72 Blackberry Patch Golf Course, finished 30 strokes off the pace of first-place Grand Valley State University (597). NKUs Curtis Phelps tied for 27th place in the individual competition with a two-day score of 154 (78-76). NKUs Brandon Parsons finished tied for 35th place with a 157, and the Norses Glenn Davidson and Jerod Cahill both tied for 48th place with a two-day total of 158.
