NKU GOLFERS DEFEAT BELLARMINE

Norse take top five spots in competition

EDINBURGH, Ind. - Jon Ehlen fired a 2-under-par 70 Sunday to capture the medal as the Northern Kentucky University men’s golf team posted a 19-stroke victory against Bellarmine University at the Timbergate Golf Course. Ehlen shot rounds of 35-35 to take the medal, one stroke better than teammate Jerod Cahill (35-36 71). NKU golfer Mark Krahe posted a third-place finish with a 73, while the Norse’s David Shearer shot a 74 and took fourth place. NKU’s Andrew Jewell finished with a 75 and tied Bellarmine’s Nathan Knight for fifth place. The Norse posted a team score of 288, while Bellarmine finished at 307.
