Norse win tournament by three strokes |

UNION, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University mens golf team won the Garzellis Fall Classic on Tuesday with a final score of 602 at the par-71 Lassing Pointe Golf Course. NKUs Brandon Parsons shot rounds of 75-73 to tie for third place in the individual competition with a two-day total of 148. The Norses Curtis Phelps tied for sixth place with a score of 150. NKU freshman golfer Jerod Cahill played as an individual during the tournament and came in second with a score of 147. Cahill, a graduate of St. Henry High School, shot an even-par 71 on Tuesday to take second-place honors. Matt Gade of Bellarmine University won the medal with a two-day total of 144.
