Norse men rally from 12-stroke deficit

UNION, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University men’s golf team captured its own invitational Tuesday with a two-day total of 609 at Lassing Pointe Golf Course.

NKU rallied from a 12-stroke deficit in Tuesday’s final round and took the team title by five strokes over runner-up Bellarmine University (614). The Norse’s Glenn Davidson shot a 1-under-par 70 Tuesday to lead NKU, which finished with a score of 294 in the final round.

NKU’s Jerod Cahill, playing as an individual, captured medalist honors with a two-day score of 149 (+7). Davidson finished second with a total of 150, while teammate Brandon Parsons shot 151.

NKU’s Bill Warken, also playing as an individual, tied for third place with a 151.
