Bellarmine wins team title by one stroke

PERRY PARK, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University men’s golf team posted a second-place finish at its own invitational Monday with a two-day score of 579.

Bellarmine University finished first in the team standings with a two-day total of 578. University of Southern Indiana’s Ted O’Brien won the medal with a two-day total of 144 (76-68), one stroke better than the University of Indianapolis golfer Chris Clemons (145). O’Brien shot a 4-under-par 68 in the final round to capture the medal.

Indianapolis - which held a one-stroke lead going into Monday - finished third with a score of 588, while Southern Indiana was fourth with a total of 607.
