EVANSVILLE, Ind. - The Northern Kentucky University mens golf team posted a fourth-place finish at the University of Southern Indiana Invitational on Tuesday with a final score of 288. The Norse finished seven strokes behind Bellarmine University, which captured the team title with a total of 281. The University of Indianapolis captured second place with a 287, and the University of Missouri-St. Louis finished with a total of 288 and won the third-place tiebreaker (fifth players score) with NKU. NKU sophomore Brandon Parsons tied for second place by shooting a 67 at the par-71 Helfrich Golf Course. Norse sophomore Brandon Brown shot an even-par 71 and finished in a tie for seventh place. Glenn Davidson shot a 73 for the Norse, Curtis Phelps totaled a 77 and Steve Landrum finished with a 78. SOUTHERN INDIANA INVITATIONAL (par 71) Final Team Standings 1. Bellarmine-281 2.
