Norse sophomore shoots 67 to capture medal

OWENSBORO, Ky. - Sophomore Brandon Brown shot a 5-under-par 67 Monday to capture medalist honors as the Northern Kentucky University men’s golf team won the Kentucky Wesleyan Invitational with a score of 289. Brown shot rounds of 35-32 at the par-72 Summit Country Club to finish with a 67. NKU sophomore Brandon Parsons finished second by shooting a 1-over-par 73, and Norse freshman Curtis Phelps posted a fourth-place finish with a 74.
