Norse complete NCAA Great Lakes Regional with 929 |

BOLIVAR, Mo. - The Northern Kentucky University mens golf team completed the NCAA Division II Great Lakes Regional on Wednesday, and the Norse finished in seventh place with a three-day total of 929. The Norse totaled 312 during the final 18 holes Wednesday at the par-72 Silo Ridge Golf and Country Club. NKU entered the day tied for fifth place with Bellarmine University. NKUs Glenn Davidson tied for 12th place in the individual competition with a three-round total of 228. Davidson shot a 5-over-par 77 during the final round. Dave Patronik of Gannon (Pa.) University captured the medal with a three-round total of 218. Ferris State University won the Great Lakes Region title with a score of 895, while the University of Findlay took second place with a score of 902. Ferris State and Findlay will advance to the national finals May 20-23 at Crosswater Club at Sunriver Resort in Sunriver, Ore.
