BOLIVAR, Mo. - The Northern Kentucky University mens golf team is in sixth place after one round of the NCAA Division II Great Lakes Regional, which is being hosted by Southwest Baptist University. NKU totaled 312 after the first 18 holes Monday at the par-72 Silo Ridge Golf and Country Club. Glenn Davidson and Jerod Cahill each shot 4-over-par 76 (tied for 16th place) to lead NKU. Ferris State University finished with 296 and is the team leader after one round. The University of Findlay totaled 297 and trails Ferris State by one stroke going into the second round. The second round of the 54-hole tournament will take place Tuesday, with the final 18 holes scheduled for Wednesday. The top two teams and the top two individuals not on those teams will advance to the national finals May 20-23 at Crosswater Club at Sunriver Resort in Sunriver, Ore.
