Landrum shoots 1-over-par 72 Thursday |

ALLENDALE, Mich. - The Northern Kentucky University mens golf team is in 16th place after three rounds of the NCAA Division II national finals with a three-day total of 935 (+83) at the 72-hole tournament. NKU junior Steve Landrum had his best round of the tournament Thursday by firing a 1-over-par 72 at the Meadows Golf Course. Landrum, the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Year, had consecutive scores of 82-82 during the first two days before finishing with a 72 on Thursday. Freshman Brandon Brown is NKUs top individual after three rounds with a total of 225 (+12). Brown, a graduate of Shelby County High School, is currently in 19th place in the individual competition. The University of West Florida enters the final round of play Friday leading the team standings. Florida Southern College, the three-time defending NCAA Division II national champion, is now in second place. The final round of the 72-hole tournament will be played Friday. |
