DELAND, Fla. - The Northern Kentucky University mens golf team posted a 17th-place finish at the NCAA Division II nationals with a four-day total of 1,264 at the Victoria Hills Golf Course. NKU freshman Jonathan Ehlen, a graduate of Ryle High School, totaled 306 (+18) during the 72-hole event and finished 35th nationally. Ehlen shot a 2-over-par 74 on Saturday. The University of South Carolina-Aiken captured the national championship with a score of 1,191, nine strokes ahead of runner-up Chico State (1,200). J.J. Jakovac of Chico State won the medal with a four-round total of 287 (-1).
