STOWERS NAMED ALL-AMERICAN

NKU guard earns second team All-America honors

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University senior guard Brenden Stowers has been named second team All-America by Division II Bulletin.

Stowers, a graduate of Simon Kenton High School, averaged 16.2 points per game this season and led NKU to a 25-6 record and the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament championship. He also finished his career No. 13 on the NKU all-time scoring list with 1,311 career points.

In addition, Stowers was named the most outstanding player during the GLVC Tournament in March, and he earned first team All-Great Lakes Region honors from the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
