SANDERS NAMED 1ST TEAM ALL-GLVC |

Norse junior forward earns GLVC honor |

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky Universitys Craig Sanders has been named first team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference by league coaches. Sanders, a junior forward and a graduate of McNicholas High School, has led NKU to a 25-6 record and a berth in the NCAA Division II Tournament. Sanders leads NKU in scoring at 16.9 points per game, and he has made 98 of 230 (42.6 percent) three-point attempts this season. Sanders has also scored in double figures in 17 consecutive games going into Thursday nights NCAA Division II Tournament game against Grand Valley State University. NKU senior guard Craig Conley, a LaSalle High School graduate, was named honorable mention All-GLVC. Conley has set an NKU single-season record with 188 assists, and he averages 12.3 ppg.
