Norse junior guard named second team All-Great Lakes Region |

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University mens basketball player Mike Kelsey has been named second team All-Great Lakes Region by Daktronics. Kelsey, a junior guard from Cincinnati, Ohio, averaged 16.9 points per game and made 83-of-202 three-point attempts this season. He also scored a school-record 50 points against the University of Indianapolis on Jan. 2. Kelsey, a graduate of Elder High School, will enter his senior season 19th on the NKU all-time scoring list with 1,130 career points. NKU posted a 16-15 record this past season. The Daktronics teams were selected by sports information directors from schools in the Great Lakes Region. The five players on the first team will advance to the Daktronics national ballot for All-American voting.
