NKU/KWC BASKETBALL GAMES POSTPONED AGAIN

Norse to now meet KWC on Jan. 31

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University’s basketball doubleheader at Kentucky Wesleyan College, which was scheduled for this coming Monday (Jan. 10), has been postponed for a second time and rescheduled for Jan. 31 at the Owensboro Sportscenter.

Damage from a tornado that struck Owensboro on Monday left many people without housing, and the Owensboro Sportscenter is being used by the Red Cross to assist those who need shelter. That forced the postponement of Thursday’s originally games with NKU.

The games were rescheduled for this Monday (Jan. 10), but the Owensboro Sportscenter will not be available because it is being used as a relief shelter for the tornado victims. That forced Monday’s games to be moved to Jan. 31.

The women’s game will start at 6:15 p.m. on Jan. 31, and the men’s game will follow at 8:30 p.m.
