Tornado damage forces Thursday’s games to be rescheduled for Monday

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University’s basketball doubleheader at Kentucky Wesleyan College, which was scheduled for this Thursday, has been postponed and rescheduled for next Monday (Jan. 10) at the Owensboro Sportscenter.

Damage from a tornado that struck Owensboro on Monday left many people without housing, and the Owensboro Sportscenter is being used by the Red Cross to assist those who need shelter. That forced the postponement of Thursday’s games with NKU.

NKU and Kentucky Wesleyan will meet next Monday (Jan. 10), with the women’s game starting at 6:15 p.m. The men’s game will follow at 8:30 p.m.
